Today’s guest Erfan Ibrahim is the Director of Cyber Physical Systems at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) located in Golden, Colorado. Erfan has vast experience in the industry, including leading early internet operations at UC Berkeley, leading efforts at the National Institute of Technology (NIST) initiated Smart Grid Interoperability Panel (SGIP), Electrical Power Research Institute led efforts on National Electric Sector Cybersecurity Organization Resources (NESCOR). These are in addition to his current position at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL).

But don't expect to get bored with highly technical talk. Erfan gives straightforward advice to the leaders of the Colorado Cyber effort. Everyone will benefit from the candid conversation on the direction of the Security Industry, and the guidance Erfan gives for local leaders.
