The most memorable quote from today's guest is that IT is Obsolete. Professor Andre Hinton who also works as a cyber Lead for the United States Air Force talks about the trend in acquisitions for cyber products within the leading agencies in the United States Government. He says when proposals come to them for any communications project that do not have Cyber Security as top priority, they go straight to the bottom of the stack. Our Government agencies have shifted their paradigm and now place Cyber Security as number one priority on their mission list.
Prof. Hinton is also a subject matter expert for the newly implemented Risk Management Framework (RMF). If you are looking to shift jobs or address the hottest issues in Cybersecurity today, you will want to hear what he has to say about RMF.
Thanks for Joining our Show today Prof. Hinton.

Exciting our youth for STEM is what today's guests and show are all about. The State of Colorado with support from many companies and organizations is going all out to accelerate the local technology based economy by engaging high school age youth. Today we have some exciting guests; Jay Lindell from the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade, and Dr. Robert Fredell from the Challenger Learning Center.
The topic today is the second Annual Dream Big STEM event which is being held at Eads High School in Eads Colorado this year. Dream Big has been a wild success with organizations from all over the state volunteering their time and resources to bring so many exciting projects, and exhibits to a combined group of students which will be bussed in from many surrounding schools. Vendors provide technology exhibits, interactive training simulations, Operational Robotic displays, and Live flights for students to experience.

The Privacy of individual Medical records is something that should concern everyone. Medical records are the one thing we don't want just any company to have access too. Today's guest Mike Schmidt Suggest CEO of Ensemble Ventures is working on a new type of medical records exchange where the record owner has to give permission for each use of their record and then receives payment anytime a company would like to use their information for studies or analysis.
Imaging a “Pay me for my data” model vs today's landscape where every large company has a copy of your record. This would definitely change the way we think about privacy.
Thanks for joining today Mike, and we will all be looking for the Medical Record Exchange as soon as it is operational.
