Today's Guest is Harley D Rinerson the Cyber Security Advisor for region 8 of the Department of homeland security. Region 8 Covers much of the rocky mountain region of the United States. Harley gives us an explanation of what it is that DHS does in the Critical Infrastructure arena and what the importance of the DHS is to the Unites States.

Making the connection between motivated young Entrepreneur and industry needed solutions is often difficult. Today we speak with the Executive Director of QUAD Innovation. QUAD innovation, an Organization founded in collaboration with four Colorado Universities offers support for industry looking to engage young talent to work on solution to specific problems. QUAD offers a facility for university students meet and work on identified problems that industry partners have posted or challenges that are presented.
How it works... If a company has an industry problem that they would like to have students work on. They can contact QUAD Innovation to get their industry needs listed with QUAD. Interested students can take up challenges offered by companies for a reward that companies may decide to offer, or if they can pursue a startup to provide products or services independently. Either way the connections are made and between industry and willing talent.
